Michael Ryan Hahn was born and raised in Ohio. He graduated from Wright State University’s motion pictures production program and promptly moved to Los Angeles.

He is a director, writer, and designer, with other areas of expertise ranging from music and sound design to construction and wilderness survival.

He co-directs with his sometimes creative-partner and always-wife, Elisabeth Meurer.
